Dr. Serghei Galatonov was born in Moldova, he speaks five languages (English, French, Romanian, Spanish and Russian) and has always had a love for all animals. Dr. Galatonov has two DVMs and a Master’s degree, he completed 6 years of DVM at the University of Agriculture in Transylvania, Romania before moving to Quebec to re-do his Veterinary Degree. In 2006 he completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Université de Montréal.

After the graduation Dr. Galatonov spent the first two years working as a small animal veterinarian in two veterinary clinics in Montreal, then moved to Lethbridge, where in 2010 established the Lethbridge Veterinary House call Service. He has a passion for internal medicine and cherishes the time he spends with his clients and patients, striving to provide the best care possible.

Dr. Galatonov enjoys spending time with his family, he loves travelling, camping, gardening, hiking, cross-country and mountain biking.
